Fall is in the air and that means apples, cinnamon, and oats!  Nothing like filling your house with the scent of this Easy Apple Crisp baking in the oven.

Easy Apple Crisp

Growing up, I remember trips to the apple orchard with my Mom seeing rows and rows of apples packed in those wooden crates.  Mom would go there to get the “good apples”.  They were just picked off the trees and were super fresh.  “Not like those store apples.”  And of course we would have apple everything for awhile – apple dumplings, apple pie, apple cake, apple fritters, apple crisp, apple butter, and on and on.

This Easy Apple Crisp was, and still is, one of my favorites.  It has just the right amount of cinnamon, sugar, and crunch in the topping to satisfy that craving for a delicious, comforting dessert.   Try serving it right out of the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
